Thank you for finding my page.  I’m Rachel, founder of RJ Fitness & Coaching.  An award-winning women’s fitness, coaching and outdoor wellbeing community based in Malvern and Worcester, Worcestershire.

I help women over 40 feel confident, capable and connected through movement, nature and community.  This isn’t traditional gym fitness.

It’s about getting outdoors, moving your body in ways that feel good, and rediscovering the joy of being active.  That might be walking on the Malvern Hills, cycling, trail running, yoga, or simply climbing a tree and feeling like a child again.

If you’ve ever felt that exercise wasn’t for you, you’re in the right place..   

My Approach & Who I Help

At RJ Fitness & Coaching, I create a friendly, welcoming, inclusive space for women over 40 in Worcestershire who want to build everyday strength, capability and confidence so that you can continue doing the things you love well into your 70s, 80s and 90s.  

You don’t need to be “fit” to start.  You just need to start.

If you:

  • Have never felt at home in traditional fitness spaces
  • Found PE at school off-putting or unwelcoming
  • Enjoy being outdoors more than a gym

Then you’ve found your place.

I have over 20 years of successful experience, working with all ages. You’ll find a community of likeminded women here. We all love a good chat, enjoy sharing the outdoors, being sociable, spending time together and there will often be tea and cake too.  

With over 20 years of experience.  I am passionate, nurturing and full of creative ideas, I can guarantee you a personalised approach whatever your goal.  I’ll also make sure we have some fun along the way.

Latest News and What We've Been Up to in 2026

2026 has already been full of connection, movement and memorable adventures.

We’ve been exploring some of the most beautiful walking routes in the UK, including the Windrush Way and Wardens Way in the Cotswolds, alongside regular walks across the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire.

I’ve also launched new yoga classes in Malvern and Worcester, and our online Stronger for Longer Club continues to grow each month.  It’s all about helping women build strength, mobility and confidence through simple, consistent every day movement.

Our small group women only walking holidays and retreats have taken us to:

  • Dartmoor
  • Wales
  • Dorset

These retreats are incredibly popular and often sell out quickly through my VIP Newsletter.

What's on from July 2026

Most of my one off outdoor events and activities are on Eventbrite.  So make sure you head there, follow me and set your notifications on. 

All of my 6-8 week face to face programmes will be under the relevant activity.  So head to walking, cycling or running sections of my website.  

Every month my Stronger for longer club, has a new theme and includes TWO live classes every week.  You can sign up at anytime and cancel at anytime too.  

Thursday 2 April, 9.30am – Cycle Your First 100km YOUR way (8 week programme).  SOLD OUT!
