Welcome to my new Seventeen Summits self guided walking challenge on the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire. Did you know there are 17 summits along the whole of the Malvern Hills? Why not tick them off in a series of 4 self guided circular walks which range from 5-6 miles.
They are all circular walks and it’s the Malvern Hills so expect some steep, rocky and loose gravel along the way. Not only will you get to tick off all 17 summits of the Malvern Hills but you will get to explore new, interesting and hidden gem parts of the hills. They are also not just a series of circular walks to complete, but there are clues to solve along the way and a medal up for grabs.
The challenge is being launched on Monday 27 July 2026 but you can start it at anytime. Take as long as you like to complete the walks.
Once you have signed up you will get access to all 4 downloadable paper route cards with instructions, as well as all the GPX files for each walk (this is an electronic version of the route where you will need an app like Komoot, All Trails or OS maps to follow it). The GPX files will arrive via email separately.
When you have completed all 4 walks and answered the clues, you can submit your entries and earn yourself a well deserved medal. There is also an exclusive Facebook group where you can ask questions, share your photos and give each other support.
This pack includes 4 x downloadable route cards, 4 GPX files and 1 medal, but you can purchase additional medals at £6.50 each (see separate purchase for these). Please allow at least 7 days for your medals to arrive in the post.
